Family Code of Ethics & Honor
For more than two decades, the 411-Trailers family has operated by one principle:
Character is earned through action.
This combined Code of Ethics & Honor defines how we work, how we communicate, and how we serve the boating and trailering community.
I. Code of Ethics
1. Integrity in Every Interaction
We provide clear, accurate information — not guesswork. When we don’t know something, we say so and go get the right answer.
2. Respect as a Two-Way Standard
We communicate the way we work on a busy ramp: steady, patient, direct. Sometimes we include improvements or upgrades at no charge. If a free upgrade becomes a complaint, we reserve the right to remove it and return the trailer to its base configuration. Courtesy is mutual.
3. Responsibility & Accountability
We acknowledge mistakes, correct what can be corrected, offer options for what cannot, and move forward constructively.
4. No Misrepresentation — No Hidden Agendas
We do not oversell or push unnecessary options. Transparency is part of our craft.
5. Safety Above Convenience
Every recommendation prioritizes trailer, boat, and road safety — even when it means declining a sale.
II. Honor Code
6. Match the Trailer to the Boat — Not the Other Way Around
We align each trailer to the hull, water conditions, loading habits, and real-world use.
7. Share Knowledge Freely
If another dealer or builder is better suited for your needs, we say so and point you their way.
8. Experience Is a Tool, Not a Weapon
We use experience to guide and teach — never to intimidate or pressure customers.
9. Stay Calm When Conditions Aren’t
Wind shifts. Crowds grow. Miscommunication happens. We stay steady and communicate clearly.
10. Finish What You Start
Every customer deserves a complete answer, a clear next step, and a finished interaction.
11. Build Character in Every Interaction
Every call, email, adjustment, and delivery shapes who we are. Character is cumulative — we uphold it daily.
Founder’s Acknowledgment
“I honor my parents, Bud and Peggy Bright, whose guidance, work ethic, and example shaped the foundation of this company. I am equally grateful for the staff who stand with my family every day — their commitment allows us to deliver the level of care and service we bring to your family.”
