12" Keel Roller with Bracket & End Caps 300-015451

The EZ Loader 12" keel roller assembly 300-015451 includes a galvanized steel mounting bracket, a rubber center keel roller, and two rubber end caps. It provides rolling contact beneath a suitable keel area during loading and unloading.

The assembly mounts to a compatible trailer frame member using correctly sized U-bolts and attachment hardware, sold separately. Confirm the complete mounting arrangement and required keel contact position before ordering.

Keel Guidance During Loading and Unloading

The center roller provides rolling contact as the keel passes over it. When correctly positioned, it helps guide the boat along the intended loading path and keeps the keel clear of the metal mounting structure.

The rubber end caps extend the roller arrangement at each side. Confirm that the hull remains within the intended contact area and clears exposed metal, fasteners, and other trailer components.

Match the Boat's Support Requirements

Some trailer arrangements use keel rollers primarily during launching and retrieval, while others use them as part of the boat's support system. Follow the boat and trailer manufacturer's guidance for the required contact and loading.

Set roller height and contact according to those requirements. A replacement roller does not correct incorrectly positioned main bunks or unsuitable hull support.

• Confirm the trailer frame member's width, depth, and available mounting clearance.

This assembly includes the galvanized mounting bracket, 12" rubber center keel roller, and two rubber end caps. U-bolts and other hardware used to attach the bracket to the trailer are not included.

Select U-bolts to match the trailer member's width and depth, bracket thickness, and required thread engagement. Confirm the complete fastening arrangement before ordering.

Replacing a Worn Roller Assembly

Inspect the roller and end caps for cracking, flat spots, excessive wear, or binding. Check the bracket and connected hardware for bending, corrosion, or loose attachment points.

Support the boat safely before removing a loaded roller assembly. Follow the applicable installation and fastening instructions, then verify free roller movement, secure attachment, and correct hull clearance.
